Working as a project manager on COVID-19 preclinical experiments. Building the preclinical process platform, executing the project, preparing communication methods, finding solutions to urgent issues, monitoring each preclinical experiment progress from start to finish across 9 teams of 16 PIs at 8 independent labs/facilities. Making reports every week to the Ministry of Science and ICT(MIST) and writing COVID-19 sections for MIST policy reports.
Collecting Korean clinical data from clinicaltrials.gov, MFDS ( https://www.mfds.go.kr/eng ) and CRIS ( http://cris.nih.go.kr ) for building Korean specific clinical trial database for CROs and pharmaceutical companies. Curating and validating clinical trial data and constructing automated bio-curation pipelines to update clinical databases using SNOMED-CT and other disease and medical ontology databases.
Reviewed scientific literature, prepared summaries of consumer genetic testing trends and presented at biweekly meetings as part of a six-person committee preparing an approved and funded grant proposal for a Korean city government. Planning and processing projects related to bioinformatics and genomics grants. Supporting various grant submissions and organizing grant reports. Investigated genes involved in DNA repair/replication process during embryonic development in zebrafish using CRISPR/Cas9 system, especially loss-of-function of DNA repair/replication genes.
Performed microarray and RNA seq experiments (with ribosome profiling) to characterize Mismatch Repair (MMR) proteins, MSH2-MSH6, in baicalein-sensitive MMR-deficient cancer cells.
